Gadgets - We all love these small and smart objects, that are sadly branded as bauble very often. We fought the through the crooked jungle named internet and assembled those for you that can seriously simplify your life. 

 

 

1. Pilot 

 

What would you think about a gadget that can help you understand everyone despite their mother tongue? If you wouldn't need to communicate with your holiday flirt via sign language? 

Sounds amazing, I know. Andre Ochoa made this dream true. He developed an earpiece that can translate the conversation with your counterpart and passes it back to you. There’s even the so called “Conference Mode”, that doesn't just let a couple but multiple people participate in the conversation. It also comes with an app that can be used offline and therefore abroad. It will be delivered to the hy office in may. You can definitely expect a detailed review about it from us. 

 

 

2. SGML

 

A kickstarter project, that couldn't be more futuristic. Sgnl makes it possible to call somebody with your finger. Yes you heard right. Your FINGER! You only need to swatch your existing wristband of your smartwatch with Sgnl, that’s it. You can’t only answer a call super quick (because you're not loosing your finger very easily), but the sound quality is also supposed to be very good, cause you’re cutting out background noises with your finger. How it works? Sgnl receives voice signal via bluetooth and sends vibrations up your hand to your finger. The vibrations are echoing when you hold your finger to your ear and intensify the sound. Got it? We neither, really. But what we know: We need Sgnl in our life! This fancy thing will be send to us in august as well. 

 

 

3. Estimote 

 

Maybe you heard of the so-called iBeacons before. The dream of every developer. This small, smart thing can send you personalised content directly to your phone or to screens in your surrounding. This can be really useful in marketing to send costumers discount campaigns or coupons directly to your phone. 4. Cozmo 

 

Okay, we know we said that the listed gadgets will help you make your life easier. But we just couldn't get round Cozmo. Pardon. This robot is an intelligent little thing. The more you play with him the more skills he’ll learn. And he want’s to play a lot! In case you want to know how Cozmo sees the world, you just need to open the app and you can lead him through his surroundings. If this doesn't make feel like a kid, back in the good old Tamagotchi times! Und yes, we will expect this robot at our office as well some time this year. 

 

 

5. Tellspec

 

Now something completely different: Tellspec is a handy gadget, that can analyse the chemicals, allergens, nutrients and calories in your food. This is particularly helpful when you’re eating at friends or in a restaurant, where you never really know what was cooked with. This gadget is a big help for people with e.g. celiac disease or lactose intolerance.

 

Amazon Echo is another amazing gadget, that we already reviewed and has taken an important place in our working day. The only problem: We can’t really decide for a music genre. Today blackbelts, trap or maybe classical?
